About Dominik Vake Sr. – Founder of Alpine Tree Service
Born in Germany, Dominik Vake Sr. moved to America with his family at the age of five. Raised with a deep appreciation for nature, he spent his childhood working alongside his father, learning the value of hard work and the importance of caring for the environment. These early experiences sparked his lifelong passion for trees and led him to found Alpine Tree Service, a business rooted in dedication, integrity, and a love for the outdoors.
In 2020, during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, Dominik found himself in a battle for his life. As he lay in the hospital, uncertain if he would make it through, his mind often drifted to his late wife, whom he missed dearly. The memory of her love and strength became his anchor, reminding him of the family and future he still had to fight for. Though he was physically weak and faced the devastating loss of his wife, Dominik’s resolve grew stronger. For his son, for his wife’s memory, and for the legacy he wanted to build, he found the strength to persevere and rebuild both his health and his business.
Today, Alpine Tree Service stands as a tribute to his resilience, his commitment to family, and his unyielding love for the work he does.

Dominik Vake Jr
Dominik Jr. grew up in America, spending much of his childhood learning the tree care business alongside his father, the founder of Alpine Tree Service. From an early age, he understood the value of hard work, dedication, and craftsmanship as his father taught him the ropes of the industry. Watching his father build the business and serve the community, Dominik Jr. developed a deep respect for the legacy of perseverance his father had created.
The loss of his stepmother was a turning point in Dominik Jr.’s life, inspiring him to press on and honor her memory by strengthening the business his father worked so hard to build. Having already faced the hardship of losing his biological mother when he was young, Dominik Jr. knows the importance of family, resilience, and the strength to keep going in the face of adversity. His father stepped in during those tough times, raising him with love and determination, showing him the power of resilience.
Today, as Co-CEO of Alpine Tree Service, Dominik Jr. is committed to carrying on his father’s legacy of exceptional tree care and community service. He is passionate about continuing to build the business, ensuring that the values of hard work, integrity, and family remain at its core.
